What we keep, and why.

Your enquiry

The quote form collects your brief, name, and email. Website, budget, and service selection are optional. We save the enquiry in a private Firestore database before confirming receipt, then attempt to email our team and send you a copy. An email outage does not remove a saved enquiry.

We use these details to answer your request and record the quote and sales outcome. We do not send a marketing sequence. Enquiries are kept while relevant to the project or business relationship, or until you ask for deletion, subject to records we need to retain.

Your draft is kept in this browser tab’s session storage to preserve it between pages and after a failed submission. It is cleared after successful submission. New quote links do not put your brief in the URL; older prefilled links remain supported.

Campaign and website measurement

We record landing sessions, offer selection, form starts and errors, saved enquiries, and clicks to the booking calendar. Campaign labels, the public landing path, a device category, and a random session identifier help us understand which pages lead to enquiries. The identifier is stored for this browser-tab session; it is not an advertising identifier.

Funnel events do not contain your name, email, or brief. Campaign context can also be attached to a submitted enquiry. Event records have a 90-day retention period and are removed by a daily cleanup job. The sales report excludes events outside that period.

We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for page views and loading performance. Query strings and private account paths are excluded from their events. Google Analytics and advertising pixels are not loaded. Funnel and Vercel measurement are skipped when the browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

The optional project finder

When its database is configured, the project finder saves your answers as you progress, including incomplete sessions, free-text notes, the referring page, and generated results. This helps us understand which questions need improvement. You can see the result without signing in or giving an email.

If you request an emailed copy, we keep the name and email you provide. When AI generation is configured, the answers needed to generate your result are sent to Google’s model API. Otherwise the finder uses the written concept library. Contact us to request deletion of your answers or result.

Optional accounts

Firebase Authentication handles sign-in. We keep your account identifier, name, email, sign-in timestamps, and plans you save so you can return to them and view projects assigned to you. Account access is optional; a quote does not require signup. Requests submitted while signed in are linked to your account. After you verify your email, guest requests using that address can appear in your quote history.

Creating an account can send one studio introduction email. It is an automatic welcome message, not a personal reply or an ongoing email sequence. Contact us to request an account and saved-plan deletion.

Free audit and estimate tools

The audit tools fetch the website address you enter and show a diagnostic report. The audit itself is not stored. If you choose to request a quote, the website address and findings you selected become part of your enquiry.

The calculator runs in your browser. Its selected requirements and estimate are shared with us only when you submit the resulting quote request.

Service providers and booking

The site uses Vercel for hosting and performance measurement, Google Firebase for stored data and optional authentication, and Resend for email. The optional AI finder uses Google’s model API. These providers process the information needed for their features.

Booking links open Calendly, which handles scheduling under its own privacy policy. This website has no checkout and does not collect card details; project invoices are arranged separately.

Access, correction, or deletion

Email contact@decodewithmohit.com to request a copy, correction, or deletion of your information. Include enough detail for us to locate the record. We aim to acknowledge your request within 24 hours and explain any records that must be retained.
